ISLAND LIVING AND ISLAND LEARNING

The Florida Keys Community College is enhanced by a unique location of world- renowned natural beauty. The Keys provide a marine and island environment... but also, an abundance of cultural and artistic talent found among its residents. These are two vital components of island living in the Florida Keys .

FKCC envisions itself as a College System, on three campus sites, whose programs and services flow throughout its Caribbean location. Through this focus on... island living, island learning... the Florida Keys Community College provides a quality education experience for students of all ages.

The cornerstone of FKCC is found in its academic programs, which include the Associate of Arts and the Associate of Science degrees. These are complemented by particular areas of excellence in programs that advance the appreciation, knowledge and skills critical to sustaining a tropical island economy and community.

Students find an open-door access to undergraduate degrees and life-long learning opportunities. Work force development programs enhance the educational, economic, recreational, and cultural environment of the Florida Keys lifestyle. Course offerings available through online distance learning broaden the College's outreach. The College embraces the Keys' motto, "One human family."
