INSTITUTE OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE
The criminal justice and law enforcement program is for students planning to concentrate in the law enforcement area of the criminal justice system. In this program, students will prepare for administrative and law enforcement management positions with municipal, county, state and federal agencies. The training offered through this program meets the requirements of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission.

*This course is an introduction to the scientific aspects of investigation known as criminalistics, with emphasis on crime scene techniques, the collection and preservation of evidence and the examination of evidence. Students will be familiarized withe the capabilities and limitations of a police laboratory. This course is designed as an online course and therefore there are no on-campus meeting dates required.
