Here you will find all the different pieces of information covered in the catalog. As you will see, there is quite a bit to know.

The first portion of the catalog covers a directory of departments, FKCC's goals and mission statement, information about our main campus and distance centers, and rules and regulations.

This section of the catalog covers information from admissions requirements to Student Activities. You will learn more about the catalog as you progress through your Orientation.

Academic Policies & Procedures

Here you will find information about YOUR responsibilities as a student. Please be sure to read this section and refer back to it often. You will learn more about this part of the catalog in the next few sections of your orientation.

Programs of Study/Specialized Academic Programs

Here you can get an idea of the more than 20 different degrees and certificates available.

Dual Enrollment

If you are a Dual Enrollment* student you may want to read through this section.

*Dual Enrollment students are those still in high school that also take college classes.

Course Descriptions

Have you wondered what a class is about? Every course offered, even many of our non-credit classes, has a paragraph description organized alphabetically. Also, if a course has a pre-requisite, here is where you will find out what that requirement is. Course descriptions are also available online as you select your classes for registration and in several other areas of the college website.
