This course will introduce the beginning student to the basics of digital photography. No experience is necessary, but the student will need a digital camera. Learn to shoot beautiful photographs with your digital camera. This course will take students beyond the technical aspects of their digital camera to cover composition and shooting styles. Topics covered will include camera field tricks and techniques and the use of special filters and raw mode. Four out of eight sessions will be spent outside of the classroom.

Everyone wants to be able to survive--and even thrive--after the death of loved one. In this course, you will learn how to do that in 4 stages made up of 21 steps that build on each other, and move you forward to recovery. You will learn that nothing is lost, just changed, and that meaning can be found on the other side of any experience. You will learn how to resolve the anger and guilt that can keep you stuck. You will learn a new way to think about the grief process, and ,any tools and techniques to help you deal with it. You will also learn how to help your family members, friends, clients, or patients who are grieving. Discover a new way to deal with any loss, and discover yourself in the process.

One Hundred Ton Gross Master | OHT0100 | Room Number: 5205
This course allows a USCG licensed captain to upgrade from OUPV (6pack) to 100 Gross Tons Master. The primary topics covered in this course include rigging, cargo handling, structural members, stability and trim, compass error and adjustment, pollution, fire fighting communications regulations, maritime law, life saving and survival, anchoring and towing, small vessel passenger regulations, and rules of the road. Upon successful completion of this course, the attendee will be able to pass the USCG approved 100 GT Master Exam offered at the end of the course.
