SCHOLARSHIPS
For
Florida Keys Community College Students
The FKCC Foundation was established to support Florida Keys Community College’s students, programs and services. The Foundation is dedicated to providing scholarships to FKCC students from funds raised through the support of private donors and public agencies.
A variety of scholarship opportunities are being offered to students for the upcoming school year. Scholarship opportunities range from:
* Full Time Degree Seeking Two Year Awards for Florida Residents: Two year awards for full time, degree seeking students that will cover up to 60 credit hours for high school seniors graduating in 2010,
* First Generation in College: Awards, for Florida residents both of whose parents did not complete a baccalaureate degree, in the amount of $1,000 for full-time (12+ credits) and $500 for part-time (6 credits); a one-semester award,
* Student Ambassador: Ambassadors promote FKCC by participating 5 hours per week with activities including campus tours, welcoming students, orientation, etc. $1,200 per semester, full time, and $600 per semester part time.
* Nursing: Scholarships in the amount of $1,000 full-time and $500 part-time,
* Business, Literary, Criminal Justice, etc.: Specific scholarships in the designated areas; varying amounts of awards.
* General: General studies scholarships between $500 and $1000.
Awards are based on financial need, grade point average, leadership, character and service.

Specific Scholarship Checklist(s): You may apply for as many scholarships as you wish
Essay relating to specific scholarship
Applicants must have completed the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
Scholarships can be applied to tuition and fees. Students may reapply for scholarships each semester as appropriate.
