SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

 

Florida 's Bright Futures Scholarship

 

Eligibility:

Florida high school graduate who has been accepted into Florida public or private college as a degree seeking or certificate student. Student must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours and have demonstrated high academic achievement while in high school.

Students must maintain a 3.5 GPA and conduct 75 hours of community service and support.

Award:

100% of tuition and fees and $600 cost of education allowance prorated by term

Must be utilized within the year following high school graduation unless application for reinstatement filed within three years of high school graduation.

Application due dates:

Applications open on December 1 st and must be completed prior to high school graduation

Application and info:

Apply for a Florida Bright Futures Scholarship by completing the Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA) during the last year of high school. A student may apply online at www.FloridaStudentFinancialAid.org beginning December 1 st of the last year in high school. Questions: 1-888-827-2004
