August 6th after 1pm - Bookstore Vouchers will be issued, apologies for the delay

August 13th
At the close of business, Friday, August 13th - students with outstanding balances that have not been deferred by the Financial Aid Department, will be voided from their classes for non-payment. Please be aware that students will be required to pay a $25 reinstatement fee to re-register in their classes.
August 30th
Last day to add or drop a fall courses and receive 100% refund
August 23rd
Fall classes begin
Last day to use a fall term bookstore voucher before they expire.
September 9th
Labor day, college closed.
September 12th
Students who have been approved for financial aid, this is the last day to register for a fall term class that you wish to receive financial aid for. Registrations after this date will require payment from the student.
September 13th
Financial Aid Disbursement date. This is the date that funds from approved Direct loans, Pell, SEOG, state and foundation scholarships are paid to student accounts. The Financial Aid & Business Office will validate student attendance and calculate refunds after tuition, fees and bookstore charges have been paid. The remaining credit balance will be refunded to students via check. Checks will be produced and mailed on 9/13/2010. Financial Aid & Business Offices will be closed on this day to ensure that refunds are produced quickly.
**Note – students will no longer pickup hard copy Stafford loan checks, funds will automatically deposited and refunded to them.
**Note - 1st year, 1st time borrowers will have to wait 1 additional week, to receive their Direct loan funds.
September 20th
Last day to apply for Direct Federal loans for fall term.
September 22nd
Disbursement date for 1st year 1st timeborrower direct loan funds. Financial Aid & Business Office will validate student attendance and calculate refunds after tuition, fees and bookstore charges have been paid. The remaining credit balance will be refunded to students via check. Checks will be produced and mailed within 2 business days.
October 27th
Last day to submit an error free FAFSA for Spring term, to avoid having to pay tuition and fees upfront
October 29th
Last day to withdraw from a fall term class with a grade of “W.”
November 11th
Veterans day, college closed.
November 24th – 26th
Thanksgiving, college closed.
December 6th
Spring term tuition and fees are due. Students that have not completed their financial aid applications will be removed from their courses for non-payment. Students that have made arrangements with the Financial Aid office to defer fees will not be voided from their classes.
December 11th
Fall term classes end. Spring term tuition and fees are due. Students that have not completed their financial aid
December 13th

Financial Aid Suspension, Probation, and Maximum Time-frame notices will be mailed to students that failed to meet Financial Aid measures of satisfactory academic progress for Fall term. Financial aid awards will be removed for students enrolled in spring term courses that have been determined to be on suspension or have reached maximum time-frame for Fall term.
December 18th – January 2nd
Holiday break, college closed. **Book vouchers will not be issued during break.
January 7th
Spring classes begin
January 14th

Martin Luther King day, college closed
January 21st
