Not in Key West or even the Florida Keys? No problem! You can still use the FKCC LIbrary's resources from a computer with Internet access. We've designed our services with you in mind. In addition to the rest of the Library's website, here's some information particularly important to you as a distance learner.

Library Cards
Student, Faculty and Staff library cards provide the user with full borrowing privileges and access to all computer databases. Student cards are valid only while a student is enrolled at FKCC. Don't miss out on the wealth of resources available to you with your library card! Contact us to get yours today.

Using Library Databases
You can find and print articles right now! Our library offers many databases on an array of subjects: Arts and Humanities, Biography, Business, Computers and Technology, Education, Electronic Books, Health and Medicine, K-12, Library Catalogs, Literature, News and Current Events, Reference Shelf, Sciences, Social Sciences, and Spanish Language.

What is Ask a Librarian?

Ask-a-Librarian is a statewide service that provides live assistance from a librarian online. The service provides all of Florida's citizens with live virtual reference services via local library customized web sites currently from 10 am to Midnight Sunday through Thursday, and from 10 am to 5 pm Friday and Saturday.   

Ask-a-Librarian is made possible by a Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant administered by the Florida Department of State, Division of Library and Information Services.
