The FKCC underwater education staff-including a large adjunct staff of local and visiting instructors-often brings as much as 100 years of experience to a single course. The college offers entry level through Scuba Instructor courses from internationally recognized programs such as NAUI, PADI, SSI, and YMCA. Other affiliations include DAN and IANTD.
For almost twenty years the college has been the national training center for all civilian divers of the US Army Corps of Engineers. It now also serves as the East Coast training facility for NOAA working divers. It is a primary training center for Public Safety Diving and recently initiated an innovative course in Underwater Port Security.
