The College of the Florida Keys (CFK), with support from the Monroe County chapter of the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association, is offering a free online hospitality course for the first 30 people to register.  The six-week Introduction to Hospitality class will run April 13 through May 22.  Completers will earn an industry certification through the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute.

“Even during a major crisis, there are great opportunities.  CFK is committed to delivering opportunities to our community.  Our local hospitality sector needs us more now than ever.  This course will provide professional skills while we await the return of our islands’ guests,” said Dr. Jonathan Gueverra, CFK President and CEO.

Students must have access to a computer with audio/video and Wi-Fi.  Prospective students can apply online on the College’s website at fkcc.edu/freehospitalityclass. For answers to questions, contact the College’s Community Education department at 305-809-3185 or continuingeducation@fkcc.edu.
