Getting a high-quality education and living in a beautiful location are not mutually exclusive endeavors. At FKCC, you will enjoy both; it's what we call "Island Living, Island Learning." You will get the skills you need to fulfill your academic and professional goals in a small and engaging learning community where the professors actually know your name.
FKCC is an open-access institution (with the exception of the nursing program), which means that students need only a high school diploma to enroll. Enrollment is open at FKCC—allowing students the flexibility to apply and register for any term: fall, spring, or summer.
What are you waiting for? Apply and register now.
FKCC doesn’t just produce college graduates. We develop well-rounded citizens who will thrive in their careers and shape the society of tomorrow. With small class sizes led by dedicated professors and enriched by the island location, the FKCC academic experience is personal, practical, and like no other.
FKCC offers an array of associate degrees, certificates, and career training programs to suit a variety of academic and professional goals. Aim high and set your path to a university with an Associate in Arts degree or train for an exciting career in two years or less with an Associate in Science, Associate in Applied Science or certificate.
The College’s location provides unique learning opportunities that enrich our academic programs. Nestled within the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, students are just a boat ride away from studying the coral reef or exploring historic shipwrecks. Its rich history and diverse culture create an environment that has inspired artists, poets, novelists, playwrights, scientists, and even presidents.
What academic adventure will inspire you?
At FKCC, we understand that much of the collegiate experience occurs outside of the classroom. You want to make lifelong friendships, develop as an individual, build work experience, and take in the beauty and culture of the Keys. That’s why FKCC has a variety of student clubs and recreational activities as well as learning support and career planning services—to help you reach your goals.
Immerse yourself further in “Island Living, Island Learning” by living in Lagoon Landing. The waterfront residence hall is just steps away from class and miles away from your typical dorm.
