techniques on how to recall names and faces, facts and facts, and to get through the day without the fear of forgetting. When you’re skilled in memory, all your other skills get better!

  • Instructor: Paul Mellor, author of You Have the Right to Remember, was a finalist in the USA Memory Championship, where he recalled the names of over 90 people in less than 15 minutes, remembered in exact order over 100 single-digit numbers after a five-minute study, and recalled the exact order of a shuffled deck of playing cards after less than a three-and-a-half minute review. His fun and energetic programs have been delivered to law enforcement nationwide, including programs to the Miami Police
    Department, Florida Crime Prevention Association, and the Texas Association of Hostage Negotiators, to name a few.

Blood Stain Pattern Analysis / Interviewing and Interrogation

This course will teach students the uses and limitations of bloodstain patterns as they relate to violent crime analysis. Lessons include comprehensive laboratory exercises in blood spatter rooms and a workbook with relevant questions related to their findings. We will also cover the importance of identifying the traits of a good
interviewer/interrogator, elements of interviewing and interrogating and demonstrate skills in conducting interviews and interrogations.
